Geometer: Eli McIlveen, Born Brampton ON, 19xx to government scientist and graphic designer-illustrator. Raised north of Sudbury ON, on a diet of folk, rock, jazz, classical, blueberries and public broadcasting. Early musical exploits favoured tape recorders and computers to instruments.

University radio: experimental radio theatre and sound collage work; the latter (composed for weekly round-robin sound art series "Frequent Mutilations") distilled into Mute (1999)

Toronto ON from 1999. Field recordings from new adopted city plus new melodic focus on Civic (2001).

Influences and parallels: Brian Eno, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Amon Tobin, Boards of Canada, Mouse On Mars, Matmos, Orbital, Bostich.

Other projects: Presonance, a collaboration with Rezo Largul. Bassist - arranger - producer for Flickershow.
